Swami Nityananda, Bhagavad Gita & lessons for us.

The word Nityananda literally means "Always Happy" (Nitya - Ananda). Looks like our Swamiji has taken one step ahead and has interpreted the word as "Female- Happy"

It is way beyond realisation as to why people do it. Well, I guess that's how it is supposed to be for common man like us ("beyond realisation"). It is very discerning to learn that people who are at the position of intelligence or who preach intelligence and spiritualism set examples like this, there by disposing the very common man of his/her faith in the process.
Spiritual process is a way beyond what these godman preach and I am a little dazed to point my finger and say the mistake is in our part. As often said, the person getting cheated is to be blamed, I personally feel that the people who gets entangled into this net is the one to blame.Controversial, but just my thoughts. The article below is an ample evidence for the same.

We associate spiritual process as a one-step process. Is it really? As a kid, we learn A to Z, 0 to 9, etc, before we start constructing words, sentences, do multiplication etc etc. If we are clear on that then why do we get dazed in the spiritual process. Forget about spiritual realisation in this birth, trying to understand what it takes and how it happens itself would take many many births for people like us. There are three kinds of people in the spiritual process whom I have seen,

1. People who are content to be like a pilot fish (feeding on the remains) - These are people who follow the self-proclaimed godmen and not Krishna Himself.. There are no issues in following, but be aware that the ultimate is Krishna and not the godmen. They are just messengers of Krishna. The onus to distinguish between the good and the bad godmen's is again upon us.
2. People who want to attain salvation the next day - Well, we are all aware of the saying everything happens over a period of time. Spiritual salvation happens over the course of many many many births. This fact is clearly mentioned in Bhagavad-Gita.
3. Others - This category includes people who are illiterate (in spiritual way), egoists of Krishna and thus downgrading him (atheists) and demonic. I have purposefully not included the category where people are on the way to salvation. Reason being that all of us are invariably on this path, whether knowingly or unknowingly. It is just when realisation happens. Again this does not have to happen to everyone. It depends on the Karma aspect. Positives leads to positives.

One may counter by saying that the point 3 is misleading as it looks like a super sect of point 1 & 2. Point 1 & 2 relates to those people who are on the path of salvation, but are under the influence of Maya --> do not want to accept the real process or are more acting than understanding.

In the age of Kali, the fastest way a common man can take is by starting to read Bhagavad-Gita. Interpretation of Bhagavad-Gita by Srila Prabhupad (Founder of ISKON) is the best way to start it. Although, I have not seen nor read any other interpretations, I am more than happy to recommend this version as it is simple, concise and most of all talks about Krishna.

Why Bhagavad-Gita? This is the only book or preaching that has come directly from the mouth of Krishna (God) himself. In addition, Bhagavad-Gita is the most concise form of teaching, which contains all the aspects of life. Rest of the literatures like Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Upanishad's are all documented teachings by very learned persons and are much longer. Krishna knows that in the age of Kali, when people are self obsessed with materialistic forms, providing a simpler teaching would be the easiest way.

Wikipedia Definition of BLOG: A blog (a portmanteau of web log ) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and commonly displayed in reverse chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries . A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art ( artlog ), photographs ( photoblog ), sketchblog , videos ( vlog ), music ( MP3 blog ), audio ( podcasting ) or sexual topics ( Adult blog ), and are part of a wider network of social media . Micro-blogging is another type of blogging which consists of blogs with very short posts. In May 2007,

Unexpected Recognition

When I was young, the purpose of a phone was to talk to someone and pass on messages or get some updates. Now a day’s phone is much more than that! Right from top of the line cameras to music players to whatever you can think of in a palm sized gadget. With the ever changing technological innovations, it is a must for a person to keep buying new phone to be in sync. What has this got to with recognition? Well, it started with me getting a brand new phone (Samsung Galaxy S8+) in the 1 st week of this year (2018). After so much analysis and deliberations, which my wife can attest to, I got my hands on the beauty and it was an exhilarating experience. Infinity display, telephoto feature, facial recognition, being some of the features. Underlying to the process of buying the phone was me switching cell phone service provider as well. (FIDO to TELUS). Day 1: I am showing it off to my friends/family and unlocking/understanding the various features of the phone. A feeling of
